The Sharp Optical Dust Sensor (GP2Y1010AU0F) is especially effective in detecting very fine particles like cigarette smoke, and is commonly used in air purifier systems.

SDS011 (Laser Dust/Air Quality Sensor Module)
This optical dust sensor can measure the air quality very accurately by measuring air particles or dust based on laser detection. This sensor is supplied with the accompanying cable and USB to serial converter to connect the sensor to a computer if needed.
