ACS712 5A Current Sensor is a current sensing board based on Allegro’s ACS712 magnetic linear current sensor IC. ACS712 can sense current up to bidirectional 5A with lower than 5% error. The sensor’s output is analog voltage(185mV/A).
ACS712 5A Current Sensor uses hall effect while sensing current Because of that it can be easily used in applications that require electronic isolation. The filter pins on the board can be used to adjust the bandwidth (80kHz default) by connecting a capacitor.
