ESP8266 ESP-01s WIFI Chip:

The ESP-01S ESP8266 WiFi Module is a self-contained SOC with an integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give any microcontroller access to your WiFi network. It is capable of either hosting an application or offloading all Wi-Fi networking functions from another application processor.

Most ESP-01S ESP8266 modules come pre-programmed with an AT command set firmware, allowing you to control the module via serial communication. This makes it possible to add Wi-Fi capabilities to devices like Arduino boards, although some coding is required to interface with the module using the AT commands (or other available methods).

The ESP-01S ESP8266 module is an extremely cost-effective board with a large and ever-growing community.

While the module has on-board processing and storage capabilities, its limited number of GPIO pins (only two) restricts its ability to directly interface with a wide range of sensors and devices. For complex applications, it is often used in conjunction with a more powerful microcontroller.
